Just getting started on here and adding very slowly. My library consists of mainly female authors and is skewed towards older rather than more modern books. I also have a fairly large collection of children's books. I am trying to increase my non-fiction works and also to work my way through some of the classics I have somehow avoided up until now. I own a fair number of out of print works and books by smaller publishers.

I love collecting books and it is only in the last few years that I have been able to indulge myself more by buying books rather than borrowing them. I have somehow ended up with a to-read pile that is threatening to cause an avalanche. I am hoping that joining Library thing and starting a blog will help me work through my tottering to-read pile.
