I am currently trying to read all of the Newberry Award winners. I am almost halfway through. I also read grown-up books. I made a deal with my oldest kiddo to read along with her any readings she is assigned through school so she would have someone to talk to about the book besides the classroom dissection. So I have been reading quite a variety of books I never would have picked up, much less expected to enjoy. I prefer juvenile fiction and adult non-fiction.

Stay-at-home mom to four kids (ages 14-6) and happily married to my best friend. When not reading, you can find me in the kitchen or taking a nap on the couch! We eat at home most meals, so I have been forced to become a good cook and am continually working on becoming a great cook. I believe there is always time to make a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies- or any other cookie flavor. I'm not a cookie snob.
