pril Gabrielle', Author, Speaker and The Single Parent Counselor is a proud single mother of two, one her son, a PhD Cell Molecular Biology student, and a teen daughter, an honor student, fluently bilingual, bi-literate in English/Spanish. This San Diego native holds a Bachelor in Business Administration, Master of Arts in Human Behavior, and coursework Master in Education.

Transitioning through several imposing events in her life as a foster child, two-divorces, domestic violence and financial setbacks, she understands by real life experiences the many challenges facing single parents today. She says, “Single parents with their children in tow, attempt to cope through hard work, and desperation to rise out of the social and economic pressures facing them. With even more demands being placed on single-moms raising boys alone.”

After modeling professionally and working in corporate America for 20+ years she decided to pursue her passion advocating on behalf of single parents, especially those in disadvantaged conditions. She attributes some of her skills to the early training she received as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with Voices for Children. She served on many committees working with the former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna E. Shalala's Every Child by Two campaign, San Diego County Supervisor Greg Cox’s Welfare to Work program, San Diego County Peri-natal project and the African American Pinnacle Forum “Strengthening the Family”. She also was a joint instructor for Freshman Success courses. When time allows, she volunteers as a Career Mentor for Just in Time for Foster Youth.

In early 2000, Gabrielle´ owned and operated "Consumer Complaint Mediation Service.” In 2009, she established "Put it on Paper Publishing" launching the first book in The Myth of the Broken Home-Guidebook for Single Parents. When her schedule permits, she volunteers as a Career Mentor for Just in Time for Foster Youth, and counsels single parents and teens. She participates In addition to being an author, Gabrielle' is a motivational speaker, start-up business and indie publishing consultant. She owns and operates Put it on Paper Publishing established in 2009.

She enjoys spending her free time with her children and hanging out with her church, family. She enjoys indulging on good food and conversation with close friends, in addition reading biographies of great leaders.

Gabrielle' states, "I'm sure of my parenting formula. Although no two children are alike their behavior is a true reflection of how well we exercise what we know.” Their behaviors, good, bad or indifferent influence their ability to be productive as students and within society as a whole".
