The reader takes a journey into the life of a boy in the year 2030. We see the normal day just like ours, but the world and technology has advanced so much. Talking dog collars, and a more green environment are some of the changes. Recommended for older readers, younger readers may not understand concepts.

2030 takes on a young boy and girl narrators who are describing life in 2030. From solar panel clothing to talking dog collars!

What a fun book for today's children! This book was showcased in my school district and I find it very exciting. The authors did a great job researching realistic items that are being created as we speak! There's even a whole bibliography that has articles they used and websites to visit. A great book, very unique and something that I think older elementary students will find very exciting.… (plus d'informations)

This book is a close look into the future to show what it might be like for children to live thirty years from now. It follows a young boy from the time he wakes to the time he goes to bed detailing all the possible advancements and developments that might be made by then. It shares some of the interesting things, like virtual batting practice, hovering skateboards, and meatless food.
Provides an interesting perspective on what life might be like for kids when they get older. I was totally surprised by the ending, but I loved it! With all the new changes, the boy still ends his day by reading a book - Awesome! Good discussion starter for what life might be like in the future. The book has some engaging cartoon-like pictures, presented in a picture book format.
