It didn't really become clear to me what the author was trying to say in this book. He does occasionally point out some interesting dilemmas in modern democracy, for instance when he writes that society is becoming increasingly complex while democratic power can remain effective only if it can reduce that complexity. However, his contribution to solving these dilemmas is just confusing. He wastes a lot of space on discussing the ideas of earlier theorists and hides his own theories behind a veil of unclear language.… (plus d'informations)
