A fascinating book that covers many aspects of being bicultural, multiethnic,...whatver the current PC word is for "mixed race." It ranges from personal experiences (Eurasian, Trinidadian, African-Native American-Asian-American, half-Jewish) and the arts (including theater and cinema), to thoughtful scholarly considerations of the need to change our paradigms about "race."

For me there was a pleasant reminder (in several quotes) of a student I once had--Velina Houston--who became a playwright. She was a real jewel even in Junior High!!… (plus d'informations)
