This was the epitome of the current romance novel - a great read! and it would be one I would recommend to get someone into reading Romance ... as it's fashioned in the 2020s. It's a very different beast to what I thought Romance was until I took it up in 2020 and was re-educated.

It was published last year (2021), and exactly as the commentator below says: it has - to quote - solid characters, great banter, steam, and suspense. It's an irresistible combination for diving into the pleasurable side of reading fiction.

There is an excellent parallel story - in this case an adventure of going down in a small plane in Alaska and finding one's way out ...!

Both the leads, Wes and Lena, are charismatic characters who take their own journey into a relationship.

This book is the first in a series (Compass Series) and unlike any other series I've read in Romance, it ends up in the air, and you know that the story of these same characters is going to continue in the next novel.

Usually, a series means other characters in the periphery of this story get their own book in the next books in the series. But in this case, Wes and Lena have plenty of "journey" to go, so it's a good idea.

This book was a surprise. I hadn't ever read something by this author. The characters were solid, great bantering, some steam, and A lot of suspense. I loved all the characters and their individual characteristics.

Looking forward to life now after the rescue.

Solid conclusion to this story. I wasn't sure how this was going to be enough of a story to be another book considering how much had happened in the first book. Surprisingly, there was enough. In fact, some stuff seemed to be too much.

Wes and Lena, both at various times, frustrated the heck out of me because they felt immature. It seemed out of character for two successful people. However, I was invested in the story and these characters. I look forward to more from them.… (plus d'informations)

I love the World of True North that Sarina Bowen has created so I was beyond thrilled to find out that other authors would be writing books set in this world. I have previously read books by Aria Wyatt so I knew I would like this book as I have enjoyed her others.. The Busy Bean series is definitely a fun spin off in this world and Bull and Scarlett really help that be true.

Declan and Solana's story was quite a roller coaster of a ride. I really enjoyed it but I was also exhausted by the time it came to an end. This was a really good way to end the series.

I have very much enjoyed all of the books that took place in World of True North and I am quite sad to see this series come to an end but I am hopeful that we will get at least a few more books that are set in this engaging world.
