Mediocre mystery, another one of the comedy-of-manners things that seemed to be prevalent during the 1950s. A rather unsympathetic character gets bumped off during a village's annual Squire v. Villagers cricket match, of which we get nearly a blow-by-blow account. One is almost tempted to say "who cares?" about the victim. I didn't find the solution of the matter to be particularly convincing, either. NOT recommended.
