Typical, predictable fare. Pretty much preaching to the choir type little tiny tract that is purely for those its aimed at and typically (myself not included) will only be read by those.

I read this book in 2005 and looked it back up in 2014. Nearly ten years later, I loved it just as much. It's my favorite out of the three that Thomas Williams has written though I thoroughly enjoyed them all. To some it may come across as preachy, but I appreciated the Biblical themes woven in with creative license. One of my favorite clean romances of all time. (Though I wish the cover art were different).

Though The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is primarily a children’s book, it has always been enjoyed by adults also. Knowing Aslan seems to have been written with this adult audience in mind. Specifically, the main aim appears to be to reach out to non-Christian adults who have read and enjoyed the Narnian Chronicles. It goes beyond the obvious parallels of the story with Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection, showing how C.S. Lewis uses aspects of Aslan’s nature to illuminate truths about Jesus as Son of God that are often neglected. It’s a very small book, but that’s no bad thing – it was still enough to illuminate some aspects I hadn’t considered even as a reader of LWW on multiple occasions. If you enjoyed LWW, Knowing Aslan is worth the hour or so required to glean some new insights.… (plus d'informations)
