Written by a teen with autism, it provides a peek at some of the obsessions, and their explanations, of people with autism. While the tale seems exagerated to me, I'm not sure how much of that was intentional and how much refelcts Williams' perception of life.
The story revolves around Jack's attempts to make sense of inconsistent rules of behavior as his family visits relatives for an aunt's wedding. No one listens to Jack's statements of what he needs, what he thinks is happening, his distress at loud noises, food tastes and textures, and uncomfortable clothes.
