Gareth F. Williams (1955–2016)

This has got to be one of the best Welsh books I've ever read, although that isn't saying much as most Welsh authors aren't that good. Anyway the story was interesting and the plot wasn't as predictable as I'm used to. The characters were also much more realistic then I'd expected and because of that I've read the next book in the series too.

That's really all there is to say about this book other than I'd recommend it to young girls between the ages of 12 and 15 who get bored of the usual Welsh stories about school and similar things. Oh yes, and of course you must be fluent in Welsh because although the language that's used isn't too difficult, I certainly wouldn't have been able to enjoy it if I hadn't gone to a Welsh school and used the language regularly in conversations.… (plus d'informations)
