"You're everything, and don't ever let anyone make you think different." - Grim

I'm so excited that L. Wilder is giving us more Satan's Fury MC this year with a new chapter, Little Rock. This one is an age-gap damsel in distress insta-lust story between two single parents. And it was not an easy read that's for sure. It even got me tearing up in the beginning because of what happened.
Grim is the enforcer for the Little Rock chapter and we first met him in Rooster. That is where this book starts. Preacher, Grim's prez, sent him to Washington to bring Beckett home. It was Christmas time and Beckett needed to spend it with his family whether he was ready to go home or not. That decision had consequences nobody thought about beforehand and after what Beckett does the club is thrown into a war with The Assassins that Preacher was trying to avoid.
Jenna is a single mom who keeps trying to make something of her life for her daughter Luna and every time she's close something happens that drags her back down. Unfortunately for her, she has to rely on her brother Steven who is a member of The Assassins. She makes the choice that she'd be safer living on the street or in her car when Steven's friend threatens Luna and her. Fortunately for her, she doesn't get out of there before the Satan's Fury comes.
Another streak of bad luck hits her but this time things start looking up. When Grim was younger his mom and he were in her position until Gus helped them out and now he's going to pay it forward for Jenna. As much as Grim tries to avoid her even ordering Skid to stay with them he just can't. And again when things are looking up Jenna's hit with another blow courtesy of her brother. Luna gets taken and Grim the club will stop at nothing to get her back.
I just loved this book so much for a new series. Jenna is the sweetest mom with that mama bear instinct that comes out when anyone hurts her daughter. Her inner strength has grown from being a survivor for most of her life so everytime something knocks her down she gets back up and keeps pushing forward. Grim is a man who has no interest in love or finding it, he was happy with the club girls or so he thought. Luna was the cutest in the world. She stole my heart just like Grims. And I liked the dynamic between Skid and Grim, it was hilarious and when I learned their connection it all made sense (you'll have to find out for yourself). I don't know who's books next but I'll definitely be reading it!

Rooster is the 5th book in the Satan's Fury MC: Sec Gen series by Daphne Loveling. It's a second-chance single mom romance that fell a little short for me. I couldn't get into this book like I have the rest of the series and I think it could be because so much was happening. There was never a dull moment in the book which was good.
Rooster didn't understand why the chick he slept with at the movies wouldn't get out of his head. He gave her his number and she never called, plus he had more things to worry about in the club. Until a club problem led him right back to her when she broke down and he was the one to help her. Maggie had never done what she did with Rooster at the movies before but going through a hard divorce and having two kids she decided to be wild for a night. After seeing each other again they decide to give it a shot and take it slow since both of them had so much going on in their own lives. Her ex-husband was trying to manipulate the kids and still control her and Rooster was dealing with officer changes, taking over a business they never wanted, and helping another charter president out all while trying to be with each other.
I gave this a 3-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. So many things were happening in this book at one time that it felt like the building relationship between Rooster and Maggie was not the star of the book but rather in the background. The other things happening within the MC like getting a new president and helping a fellow presidents son were good parts of the book. You can tell their are many changes coming to the MC and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Savage is the 4th book in L. Wilder's Satan's Fury MC: SG series. This one was a secret child second chance romance. I've loved the Satan's Fury MC series since the beginning and the second-gen series hasn't disappointed at all.
Five years ago, Savage and Londyn were high school sweethearts. Both headed down different paths in life but determined to be together. Him to the MC to be his father's successor as president and her to college to become a lawyer. Unfortunately, not everyone always gets what they want especially when Londyn's dad puts it in Savage's head that he if loved her he would let her go so she would accept a scholarship she received. Because of his stubbornness and refusal to read the letters she sent, or answer her calls, or even see her when she stopped by he missed out on a huge part of his life and his sons and I was very disappointed in how he handled things and even 5 years later can barely make himself face what he did. When he finally does he realizes he only has himself to blame cause he messed up badly. Can Savage make up for what he did? Can he finally be a man and step up like he needs to and keep her and their son safe at the same time?
I gave this one a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. I really liked reading about the up-and-down rollercoaster of Londyn and Savage's relationship. Londyn is a sweet, strong woman I feel is very relatable who didn't deserve what happened to her by Savage or her dad leaving her heartbroken and her dreams taken from her. But like they say sometimes you have to let it go to know if it was truly meant to be and maybe it just wasn't their time yet. I can't wait to see who's book is next!

I was bored at times...too much filler for my liking. A few eye rolling incidents too. Just not for me.
