What a beautiful book this was - I loved meeting Ryland and his fabulous family. Ryland was born profoundly deaf and transgender. His story and that of his parents who so lovingly struggled to come to an understanding of his challenges was inspiring and empowering. I have read several other books on transgender children and this was one of the best. I especially loved the letter written by Ryland's Mom to friends and family. This child has become an advocate for transgender children and has spoken publicly about his transformation with great courage. Thanks Jenny for a great recommendation.… (plus d'informations)
