Arnold Whittall is Emeritus Professor of Music Theory and Analysis at
King's College London. His recent writings on Wagner include contributions to The Cambridge Companion to Wagner and The Cambridge Wagner Encyclopedia. His book of collected essays, The Wagner Style, will be published by Plumbago Press in 2015.
