A little slow in the beginning, this story picks up toward the end and I couldn't put it down. The intrigue of a secret and a campaign scandal with a (Christian) love story thrown in. The Christian overtones in the novel were subtle, but still resonating a difficult feat in Christian fiction where it is easy to come off as preachy and overbearing. Elizabeth White manged to stay firmly on the other side of the line with a very enjoyable read and love story. I loved the setting; Mobile, Alabama, Mississippi and some great Alabama politics thrown in. Overall a very enjoyable read and I will definitely be reading more Elizabeth White in the future.… (plus d'informations)

Calico Christmas at Dry Creek: This was a good Christmas story taking place in the Montana territory. I liked all the characters even the ones you weren't suppose to because you knew they had to change.
Redeeming Gabriel: This story was action packed and full of drama. I think I would read more of this author, if I have a chance.

I kept thinking that this would make a great movie as I was reading this story. You have a young lady running from the bad guys and at the last minute grabbing a pilot who flies away with her but the gas line starts leaking, they make a crash landing and then spend the rest of the story running from the bad guys and trying to fight their romantic feelings for each other (all taking place in a another country of course).

A good ending to the series and I really liked getting to know more of Bernadette's (aka "Benny's") past history. You got to know a little about her in books 1 and 2, but this gave you a better understanding of her. The border patrol agent, Owen Carmichael, was the guy who rescues her and tries to show her that he is someone she can trust. This story was my favorite in this series.… (plus d'informations)
