Fast paced.

Good continuance of the first book.
Looking forward to the next.
Will be the first time I have completed Robin Hobb

Starting out in today's world on an archeological dig, the story quickly moves into a future where Earth has been invaded by aliens who are terraforming the planet and are working towards the annihilation of all life on Earth -- with some humans fighting against this. Not entirely sure where this vol 1 is going to go after this, and I am not going to bother finding out.

This book I was sceptical about but as I started to read it I found that I didn't want to put it down. This book I thoroughly enjoyed reading and was sorry it had to end but I do hope to read more of this authors books in the future. The characters were a we bitty extreme sometimes and also loveable sometimes you got the feeling you were there with them all the way as I read an amazing story I would be so delighted to recommend this wonderful book to all you lovely readers out there how really like a rollercoaster of a ride with your books so happy reading my thanks to the author for the pleasure & privilege of reading one of his wonderful books.😉😊… (plus d'informations)

I loved the first book,Awakened, and was lookung forward to this one. Unfortunately, this book was not as thrilling as the first. Awakened was a tight monster book about people trapped underground facing an unknown foe. In the Brink we get an international thriller where politics play a big role and the creatures are secondary performers at best. I also didn’t care for Cafferty’s deep dive into fanaticism.

This book was good and I recommend it if you’ve read the first one. Here’s hoping the third book gets better.… (plus d'informations)
