DNF at 55%. As another reviewer mentioned, “too much filler.” So much potential but instead just dull. MMC had intriguing past but was just too cold. FMC was bland and lacked any personality. And inserting her idiotic father into so much of the plot was just annoying. Done!

So unhappy with that ending. I knew they would eventually get together but he did nothing to redeem himself after abandoning her and treating her like crap. Just walk in, say ‘I love you’ and everything is ok?! Sorry, doesn’t cut it for me. I was expecting more. Really good story up until that point.

Her father the ridiculous excuse for a reverend hires a "tutor" who is another other-the-top character with a wart on nose to teach her how to behave refined. Miscommunication, gossip, before the inevitable outcome.… (plus d'informations)

Fast read. Emotionally crippled and wounded Duke returns home to inherit his late father's estate and lands and realizes he needs an heir. He asks the Vicar to offer up one of his daughters and arrange the wedding for the end of the week. Grace is unrefined and undisciplined and spends her free time reading and doesn't want to marry. They marry and she is now a duchess and the story turns into Pgymalian with lots of misunderstandings and miscommunications. Fast read.
