Christopher Warner

As soon as Cindy, a school friend of mine, posted on Facebook that her husband had written a book I clicked the link and purchased a copy. I had remembered hearing of Christopher's vision and had had a short visit with them a couple summers ago but other than that I didn't really know the whole story.
The book was quick reading and I found it even more interesting since I knew Cindy since we were in grade school but since high school we hadn't really kept in contact so I was looking forward to reading about her married and adult life.
This is a very honest heartfelt account of a man going through a life changing event from a surgery which was meant to be fairly "routine" for him. I was able to connect on a personal level as a couple years ago my husband had a surgery to remove a tumor and lost complete vision in 1 of his eyes. And as Cindy does I too forget my husband has impaired vision. I sometimes will come up on his "bad" side and as where someone with complete vision would see he will sometimes bump into me not realizing I'm there. Then I remember.
I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone I know.
