Judith E. Walsh, Ph.D., obtained a doctorate in modern South Asian history from Columbia University and is currently a professor in the history and philosophy department of the State University of New York, College at Old Westbury. She has more than 30 years' experience writing, lecturing, and afficher plus teaching courses on India and South Asia.
