Angela Walker

Angela Walker is the daughter of Ian Walker, a RNZAF volunteer who arrived in England in time for the Battle of Britain. He was trained to be a Gunner/Observer in Bristol Beaufighters, but later transferred to Bomber Command.When he was about 1/2 way through his 30 missions, he was shot down and captured, severely injured, although he later made a bid to escape from his Stalag. He was later repatriated in 1943. This book is mostly a daughters search for answers about the father that she thought she knew, but after his death, she had access to Ian's diaries and she found that he had hidden much of his war tales from the family.… (plus d'informations)
