Aidan Wachter has brought together practices that I was familiar with separately and turned them into something even more functional and interesting together than they ever were apart. This book is reflective of someone's actual practice (right down to some of the instructions not being as clear as they could be, a hallmark of someone who is able to fill in the mental blanks from their own experience), and I found that very inspiring. I had never thought to put these exercises into a cohesive practice, and it makes me wonder what else might work as well together as these do.

Also, the *way* that he writes about these things is really my favourite part, and why I'd suggest most people I know read this book. Even if you don't follow his exact instructions and then go about a different practice, hearing what he's had to say will be very helpful for you!

A really fantastic exploration of deep, meaningful imaginative practices to improve your life, which I think would be helpful whether you practice magic or not. The author was conversational, incredibly informative, down to earth, and non-prescriptive. Highly recommend.
