Most of the stories were enjoyable. Some of them were very British.

Very entertaining read. Each author handled their topic well, and the stories ranged from fast paced to sly. A couple had me laughing out loud. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys dragons.

This is a delightful and entertaining collection of stories with dragons as the main-focus. These short stories will make you beg for more.
One of my favorite stories was Hauling Fire by A.J. Noon. This story was about two men who were transporting a crated dragon in a wooden cart. They would camp in the wilderness of the countryside along their way because the Wizard, who ordered the dragon, warned them not to stop at any villages along the way. One fine night after many nights of camping outside, they decided to stop at an inn to get some good food, ale, and a good night’s rest. In the morning, they realized that the crate was open and the dragon was missing. The nephew goes outside to see if he can find the dragon. The owner of the cart realizes that the dragon was on the roof of the tavern… It was hilarious and I will not spoil the ending for you.
Another favorite of my mine was Cloud Dragons by Jaq D. Hawkins. This sea worthy story focuses on a ship that could sail away from cloud dragons, other flying ships that could attack them and how they would swoop and maneuver away from them.
The Freosan Draka Treow, by Nils Visser is an excellent story with a definite connection to Old Saxon history and language. This remarkable story follows a folklore tale of a dragon tree and magical happenings in a Yew Forrest as a battle ensues between Saxon and Dane forces.

All of these stories are priceless in imagination and enjoyable. They are a well worthwhile reading experience and are on my list for anyone who loves dragons as much as I do. This book was a gift for a review and I have it online.
