The stories are truly pleasantly played out like fairy tales for grown-ups, honouring the style. Great adaptations of Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella.
There is the established consequences in Jack's childhood story that those who are condemned to death are sent to hell. Therefore, while there is a happy ending for both Jack and Cindella, there is the unanswered question whether Cindella will ultimately be sent to hell for Fulk's death - must they be caught on Earth to be punished?
Nonetheless, I liked the twist and the overall take on the two fairy tales.
