This is Darlene L. Turner's 10th book in the Loved Inspired Suspense line and it's certainly one to remember! Yukon Wilderness Evidence is filled with nail-biting and page-turning suspense, but there's also a powerful secret that fuels even more drama! Brett Ryerson is very skeptical when Keeley Ash reveals that he's her son's father but that doesn't stop him from stepping in to protect them from danger. Why have Keeley and her family become the targets of murderous assailants, and who is the clever mastermind behind it all?

Turner is a pro at creating likable characters that burrow their way into our hearts and I was especially drawn to Brett and his willingness to help Keeley and her adorable little boy MJ. His past hurts and wounded trust didn't prevent him from taking charge even as he battled doubts and mistrust. His journey to belief and acceptance was realistic and I especially loved the faith and wisdom displayed by Brett's seriously ill father. His Christian wisdom was an inspiration indeed!

Are you looking for a romantic suspense story that's filled with faith, second chances, and a shocking villain? Grab a copy of Yukon Wilderness Evidence...you won't be disappointed!

Yukon Wilderness Evidence by Darlene L. Turner is a suspenseful and engaging tale. The forest provided a mysterious and chilling setting. The author captured the Yukon Forest with her vivid descriptions. I felt like I was transversing the forest with the characters. I enjoyed all the action which kept things lively. I liked the well-developed, multidimensional characters. You could feel the chemistry between Keeley Ash and Brett Ryerson which had not dissipated with the passage of time. MJ is adorable. He added light moments to the story. Forensic botany was new to me. It was interesting learning about it and how it aided police in solving crimes. Faith was nicely woven into the story. Trust and forgiveness are two of the themes in the story. One of the characters will need to find their way back to God if they are to have a happy ending. Yukon Wilderness Evidence is the fifth book in Crisis Rescue Team series. It can be read as a standalone for those new to the series. The mystery had twists and turns. I liked following the clues along with the characters (I love solving whodunits). Yukon Wilderness Evidence is a story that will have you staying up late flipping the pages to find out how it ends.… (plus d'informations)

In Darlene Turner's Yukon Wilderness Evidence, readers are taken on an exhilarating journey; they are immersed in a fast-past action narrative that intertwines the tendrils of suspense with the delicate petals of faith. Set against the majestic yet unforgiving Yukon wilderness, Dr. Keeley Ash finds herself ensnared in a labyrinth of intrigue and peril, where every step forward unveils new layers of mystery and danger. Highly recommend to those who enjoy Christian mystery and suspense!

As a forensic botanist, Keeley wields a remarkable talent—the ability to decipher the silent language of plants, a skill that proves invaluable when skeletal remains surface, shrouded in secrets. But when she herself becomes caught in a web of abduction and peril, her faith becomes the steadfast anchor in the tempest, each prayer a whispered petition for divine guidance in the heart of the storm.

The stakes escalate further as Keeley's son, MJ, is drawn into the fray, his unwavering trust in God serving as a radiant beacon amid the encroaching darkness. Through MJ's innocent faith, Turner masterfully illustrates the profound truth that even the smallest seeds of belief can blossom into miracles.

Amidst the turmoil, the rekindling of a past connection with paramedic Brett Ryerson adds another layer of complexity to the narrative, akin to the intertwining vines of a thorny rose bush. Their journey toward forgiveness and redemption parallels the wilderness that surrounds them, each step forward fraught with obstacles yet illuminated by the flickering flames of rediscovered faith.

Turner's style is a vivid tapestry, weaving together the stark beauty of the Yukon landscape with heart-stopping suspense and poignant reflections on the power of forgiveness. Each twist and turn in the plot is expertly crafted, taking readers on a thrilling adventure that culminates in a breathtaking revelation.

Darlene Turner delivers more than just a novel; she offers a transformative experience—a testament to the enduring strength of faith, the healing power of forgiveness, the power of God, and the boundless beauty that blooms amidst adversity. Prepare to be captivated, enthralled, and ultimately inspired by this masterful tale of love, redemption, and the unyielding resilience of the human spirit when one surrenders to the Creator.

“Sometimes God allows us to enter the wilderness to shape us. Mold us. Then use us. He is in every detail, even life’s rough ones … Let Him in … Trust Him.”

Another winner from master suspense writer Darlene Turner! This fifth book in the Crisis Rescue Team series is packed with action, surprise twists, and edge of your seat suspense! I was hooked from the beginning and immersed in the story to the very end. Suspects abound, and every time Keeley and Brett think they have found a safe haven, they are discovered and face greater danger! The “bad guys” always seem to be a step ahead of them! I love the main characters Keeley Brett, and MJ. The rest of the well-crafted, multi-dimensional characters add depth and play a big part in moving the plot forward. The addition of sweet second-chance romance, a beautifully sketched Yukon wilderness setting, fascinating use of forensic botany, and relevant faith lessons in forgiveness rounds out a wonderfully inspiring, absorbing, and satisfying read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it and the series. Note: Although part of a series, this book can easily be read as a standalone.
