Antoinette Tuff

I admire Ms. Tuff very much and was happy to receive her book free from Goodreads First Reads. She has gone through so much in her life so the title is very fitting. It was somewhat repetitious in places and if you don't want to hear Christian witness, you won't be thrilled with this book. I liked the switching between her life history and the happenings at the school that day as it showed the preparation.

I received this for free from Early Reviewers. It was an interesting story. I enjoyed reading about her life with her husband and raising the kids. Learning about the disability with her son and overcoming it. Of course, the amazing story of her overcoming the shooter at the school.

This book was a great read. The actually account of how one woman was able to turn her life situation into a saving grace for someone who was also going through something is amazing. There was no fear or doubt only a candid conversation between two people. It forces us to examine how we face life situations with regard to helping others inspite of danger. She is courageous and admirable.!
