It is a nice informational book that gives information about lice. It uses many analogies and personalizes lice to explain their living habits. It also talked about how to prevent to get lice and the ancient cases of people having lice on their head. The book uses simple vocabulary and simple sentence structure, which makes it suitable for young children's reading. It can be used in health class and biology class and reading class to improve students' vocabulary.

Genre: This book is a good example of informational because it gave the reader knowledge of lice. Not only did it just stick to lice now-a-days, but went into lice in history.

Informational: 5 stars

This is a pretty good example of science fiction in that it is based on scientific and natural laws about the human body and headlice that interact with it; but, it also fictitious in that the headlice are made into some sort of creature in the illustrations and there are cartoon captions for them which give them human capabilities such as talking and being in a schoolroom, and ordering at a restaurant. These little cartoons coincide with the main message about lice on each page and they add humor to the factual statement.

Review: This picture book is a good example of an informational book. It gives lots of basics about headlice and, because it is a delicate topic, also incorporates humor. At some points I felt like the issue and the illustrations were not sensitive enough, but that is just my opinion. Becuase it was an informational book it didn't have chracters or a plot.
