Wow, this young girl and seeing everything she has been through, is amazing. This story grabbed me from the beginning and didn’t let go until I was crying my tears at the epilogue. If you don’t read Beautiful Broken Girl first, you will be lost reading this one, but you get the idea of what is going on pretty quickly. This is a steady paced, well-written display of the strength and perseverance of some abuse survivors. Unfortunately, some like Dennis never recover. You will run the whole gamut of emotions as you read this book. Heartbreak, happiness, love, hate, and probably some others I haven’t even touched on. I loved this story. I also enjoyed the way she tied everything together at the end. It is a well-written, solid story. I wish we would have gotten a little more time with Ryder's mom and also a little more screen time with her dad. It made the end seem a little anti-climatic. Overall, I loved the story and can't wait for more.
