Great book!

I love the start, where it’s established the orca was taught the behavior by humans, as opposed to this just being a random attack. While the behavior of the orca pod was off, I also enjoyed the time we spent getting their point of view.

The setting also provided its own excitement. Something about ice and snow is scary in its own right, even when you aren’t on a thin sheet of ice surrounded by orca.

A fast paced, gory, and overall fun read! I liked it better than the Jaws book and will probably read it again.

1594, while Tom Musgrave is rescuing a girl from a mob of apprentices playing football, the ball is replaced by a head. With his old friend Talbot Law, the Bishop's Bailiff they investiage the crime.
An enjoyable mystery.

Christmas 1598 and because of a dispute the theatre where Shakespeare and the Chamberlain’s Men perform is being dismantled and moved, hopefully before the owner is informed. On doing so a body is discovered. Shakespeare is dispatched to bring Tom Musgrave, Master of Logic, to the site, hoping that he can solve the mystery. But this is not the last body they found as Musgrave is drawn into political intrigues.
With its varied range of characters, and an interesting and entertaining well-written mystery, it kept my interest right to the end.… (plus d'informations)
