As nice as it was to have all of Veena's previous (English) stories collected into one format and in color... I have to admit that the appeal I had for the character back in the late 90's when I was first introduced to her did not last.

The story lines are what I consider "indie" in their feel, and as fun as the time travel story was, it couldn't make up for the others. They are presented almost as "slice of life" pieces (although they are Veena's life) so as such there isn't really a satisfying conclusion to them. This is especially true when Veena usurps another time-traveller's re-living of his life by doing something extremely stupid.

I'm glad Eric had this opportunity to get this beautifully packaged book together and I do hope it finds an audience for him.… (plus d'informations)
