A good, easy-to-read volume of interviews with the children of classic film stars. The stars that were discussed were Rex Harrison, Walter Matthau, Rosalind Russell, James Stewart, Harpo Marx, Glenn Ford, Alan Hale Jr, Carl Ballatine, Errol Flynn, Yvonne deCarlo, Red Skelton, Gary Cooper, Boris Karloff, Ingrid Bergman, Moe Howard, Hedy Lamarr, Buddy Ebsen, Gene Lockhart, Forrest Tucker, Jack Elam, Loretta Young, Jack Gilford, Billy Barty, Jesse White, Mel Blanc, and Bing Crosby. The book is presented in the form of a Q&A interview with the child of the star, with many of the same questions being asked each time. You found out what it was like to grow up as the child of the star, a bit of unique information about the individual being discussed, and what the child was doing now. I found the James Stewart, Gene Lockhart, and Billy Barty interviews the most interesting. I would recommend this for someone who wants some first-hand information on some of the great classic film stars in an easy-to-read format. I liked that the book covered the very famous (Stward, Flynn, Crosby, Lamarr, Bergman) along with the great character actors like Elam, Lockhart, White, and Gilford.… (plus d'informations)
