Exceptional Violence: Embodied Citizenship in… par Deborah A. Thomas
This is a significant and immensely valuable addition to the corpus of works on Jamaican identity and Jamaica’s continuing internal turmoil. It uses the theme of violence as a lens through which to examine identity in a number of different ways. It is a thoughtful and scholarly essay and marks the author’s arrival at full intellectual maturity.
