I didn't realize till I was maybe halfway through this book that it wasn't a "sequel" to Max Brooks's World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. That would explain my confusion through many of the vignettes.

To be honest, if I hadn't seen the comparisons to Brooks, particularly from the author himself, I might have enjoyed this a bit more than I did (though I didn't think it was bad in general). World War Z, to me, was an incredible book. Brooks connects the dots throughout the stories and the way he writes inspires so many emotions, making you feel like you also lived through what the characters did. I didn't get that at all in Taylor's stories.

But overall, not a terrible zombie book. If you're into zombie stories, you might enjoy this one.… (plus d'informations)
