As Mom moves through the house at the end of the day, she discovers that husband, children, and pets are all asleep. She tells us about all the activities that wore them out ... and entreats the reader to sleep, as well. This is a rhyming picture book with a bedtime theme.

While our child found it funny that everyone was asleep, s/he quickly grew bored with the book. Teen reviewer: The simplicity and stagnation of the plot will prevent the book from becoming any child’s favorite read. It is a library hopeful. The plot is completely devoid of movement. The wonderful illustrations rescue the book.

I would have to agree with the target audience. By five, audiences are looking for more substance in their bedtime stories. This is probably best for toddlers.
