Eh. Kind of a disappointing ending, considering the main pairing. Everything seems a bit rushed, and the main love interest turns out to be a manipulative jerk (the chapter with her beloved toy, HOW DARE YOU YOU JERKFACE). I wish it had been a surprise yuri ending, geez, it would have been ten times better. Having said that, there was a lot of good character development for the heroine and the series itself was infused with a lot of sweetness and humor and family bonding. Would recommend to any Tomoko Taniguchi fan. I only wish I could find more of her work in English - that wasn't OOP!… (plus d'informations)

More of a 3.5 than a 3. I love Tomoko Taniguchi's works, so I was thrilled to find a series of hers I hadn't read yet. I wish Erica/Rena became a thing despite the series' adamant refusal of such a relationship ever occurring. Erica is so cute! It's nice that her friends do not make fun of her for her stuffed animal collection. I can only imagine what kind of conclusion the second and final book will bring.

Very amusing shoujo manga. In the kingdom of Gemstone, the king is father to twins: a princess and a prince. Prince Matthew is every inch the bishounen and all the girls adore him. Princess Lori is actually Prince Lawrence, but has been raised as a girl due to a prophecy made at the twins' birth.

Princess Lori and another girl have fallen for each other, but she doesn't know the Princess's true nature. And Brandon Walsh, a thief sent to the kingdom, has decided that Prince Matthew is really a girl and has fallen for him.

Naturally, many complications develop, and the book is a very entertaining read.

Mako has very high standards for a boyfriend. They have to be as romantic and dreamy as her brother-in-law! Thus begins this nicely drawn little shojo manga which is all about the She likes him, but he likes her, but her friend likes him, but the other he has no interest dynamic. It was a very cute story although the age level of 3+ struck me as odd as I can't see toddlers running around with romance themed manga like these under their arms. Anyway, I'd certainly recommend this one to lovers of the lightly romantic, 'shippy manga genre.… (plus d'informations)
