Tablo

I'm a new fan of Epik High and only started listening to Tablo's music in early 2012, but I already adore both his music and the group's. After reading the longer article in Wired (you can read it here) and discovered that he had a book published (by YG Entertainment), I knew I had to read it. Pieces of You is a collection of short stories that Tablo's written over the years, mostly during high school and some college (I believe). They clearly show his inexperience -- this isn't polished writing. But, honestly, that didn't bother me. Many of the stories were poignant and thoughtful and although they were sometimes disjointed, I found something I liked in all of them. I also enjoyed the drawers scattered throughout the book.

If you're not an Epik High and/or Tablo fan, I don't know that you'd like it as much as I did. But if you are, give it a try. You won't regret it.… (plus d'informations)

The content didn't surprise me too a great extent; I had a feeling that the stories were going to be like considering, well I know what Tablo is like, but they were sort of heavier than I expected. The stories in the book are very disjointed and choppy. But I suppose that is what added to the overall feeling that the characters don't know who they are and what they want. Gah Tablo you emo DX This book left me sort of uneasy in a way because well I didn't really know what to take away from it.
