Don't let the title fool you; this book* lists specific teaching techniques and learning strategies for classroom use. It is invaluable and I've relied on it heavily to negotiate with the school system. I'm using it this year to completely re-write the goals in his IEP (with the help of a retired Dir. of Special Education that I've hired).

* I have the 2006 ed. and just ordered the 2007 ed.
