A school library management primer. Might make a good textbook for LIS773.
This publication has good information, but more for the para-pro than the certified teacher librarian. Much of what it contains should be learned with an internship and in graduate classes. The section “processing videos and audiovisuals” is significantly outdated and may lead to practices that are not in sync with student learning goals. Definitely not for anyone thinking about the Learning Commons approach. Not recommended.
Great resource for the beginning Media Specialist!
The Library 101 is a great resource for new and seasoned school librarians. It is well organized and easy to follow. A "must have" for your bookshelf.
