I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Drew Langley he is 29 years old. He thought by now he would be an international Rock star. His life is at a cross roads. Anatomy of a Rock Star tells you the down and dirty truth of what it its like in the music industry in Los Angeles. It's disturbing , funny, touching at times and even shocking. This is the story of Drew Langley a guy who did what he had to in order to get noticied and what the consequences were. The story goes beyond the glitter of the music industry to the man himself he becomes not just a renowned Musical master but a man.… (plus d'informations)

I'm trying to look at this as a satire. Not working. Not channeling Vonnegut. Not channelling Beckett. Not channelling Moliere. Not channelling Swift. The author trots out every lunatic theory on the face of this green Earth, but doesn't make a point about any of it. I understand it's not supposed to be a story (with the requisite characterization, conflict, and reveal), but maybe it needs that. There's room for something like this, but this isn't it. Regrettably not recommended.

I fancied a bit of light reading prior to getting stuck in to the next bout of reviewing, so opted for this cheeky title by Charles Steed.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the book is far better than the title and cover suggest. The characters are interesting, the rock star in question has a great personality and whilst the story is about the 'member' in question, it's not in the way that you'd typically expect.

Easy reading for the most part, this provided just the light relief I was looking for. 3/5 stars.… (plus d'informations)

What most people would consider amusing, acceptable and part of today's lifestyle I find disturbing in many ways. Astral projection, immortality, time travel and the new world order smack of...Bluntly speaking demon possession and pagan practices wrapped up and presented as okay, the norm. For me, it is NOT. The world is being led down a path that leads to destruction, that will end in disaster and the deception (the catalyst) is everywhere and comes in all forms. This is nut one of them, fiction (?) that leads many to delve (explore) areas that need to be avoided.

I cannot recommend this book.
