Discovering the Human Connectome par Olaf Sporns
All about where we are now in pursuing the ability to do full-detail mapping of the vast network formed by the brain's neurons. Drier and more scholarly than a popularization would be (cf. Seung, _Connectome_, 2012). The only mention of the possibility of mind uploading is in an endnote to the last chapter (which is on computational connectomics).
