- Kimberly Spencer has a B.A. in Psychology from Auburn University and a MSCE in Counseling/Psychology from the University of West Alabama. She is an avid reader, writer, and non-arithmeticer. Seriously, don't ask her to count anything. If she's not working on The Faerie Tale Girl Series, she's probably fighting with her three-year-old shih tzu, Macho. And yes, just like Charlie Sheen, he's usually winning. Her favorite color is brown, which goes with everything and matches her skin. :-)

This didn't really work for me. I couldn't really get into the story (there didn't seem to be enough explanation of the framework and backstory) and the characters never really came to life. Maybe it was too short. I might try book 2 in the series, on the theory that I might like it more with a bit more background...
This was a great start to a promising series. It was fast paced and very entertaining. I look forward to reading more by Ms. Spencer.
Limerick is the 2nd novella in The Faerie Tale Girl series by Kimberly Spencer and it picks up about a week after Shimmerspell.
Kimberly Spencer is a tease! Limerick ended with a cliffhanger like Shimmerspell. I feel like she is feeding us a novel one chapter at a time with these novellas. It’s like riding a huge roller coaster, just as you climb to the top of the big hill and you can see the long drop the fun park worker puts on the brakes and says “I’ll be back in five”.
With this installment, we get to see more into Jensen’s new found world of the fae with the addition of witches and dragons. The same secondary characters, Zoe, Liam, and Dermott are present; plus a few new characters.
Jensen is really starting to grow into her powers and learning that everything and everyone for that matter, is not what they appear to be. I can’t wait to see what she faces next.
I recommend this novella to anyone that likes Fae YA books.… (plus d'informations)

Book ♥♥ 2 Stars
The first half of this book was okay. The second half was Blah. I enjoyed meeting Jensen, her sister, Liam, and the rest of the gang but there were some odd things that happened. Jensen wanted a normal life but for reasons unknown to her, she was moved from place to place by her sister. As she faces her reality, she learns a lot about her world and herself. I felt as though the book left many questions that if it takes you reading the second book in the series to find out then it was not written properly. I just feel as though the book failed to flow and I will not be reading anymore in the series.
