Every now and then, a game comes along and everyone thinks 'Why didn't I think of that?' Call of Catthulhu is one of those games. The Investigators are cats; highly intelligent, and capable of dealing with Horrors From Beyond, but cats. They must handle such monstrosities as Hastpuur, Shed-Nappurath, and the dreaded Mutt'thra, the God of Canines. And they must this without opposable thumbs and be back in time for dinner. The deluxe box edition contains The Nekonomicon (character building and system rules), Unaussprechlichen Katzen (the world of Catthulhu and the menaces that dwell there), 3 cat dice (no numbers; cats don't DO numbers), cat figures, and wooden fish treats, along with a blank pad of character sheets. Highly recommended.
