Något god struktur, meningslösa och tunna karaktärer. Finns inte något direkt budskap, enbart våldsam för att skapa shock. Märks att denna novell skrevs på 10 dagar. Skulle inte rekommendera.

Not for the faint of heart. Please read all disclaimers in the book (at the beginning AND when most of the action takes place) before handling this mini-monstronsity. This is not your typical kidnap/torture/humilation story...this is Judith taking it up about 1000 notches. All of this is done in less than 100 pages, so as soon as you open the book, be prepared for depravity. The whole sequence between Poppy and Ralph had me feeling sick to my stomach. ***added bonus*** there is a little 'forum post' after No One Rides For Free about a person's fetish with pimples which was quite enjoyable.… (plus d'informations)

My review is for the eBook.
I've never read any books by Judith Sonnet before, I think the book is well written, but I don't understand the weird obsession with people urinating, or what is known as "piss-play"
The amount of times the author mentions someone urinating is excessive in this book, the plot of the book is okay, but I wouldn't say that it is enjoyable or interesting to read but that's just my opinion though.
Other people might disagree and that's fine, since everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Splatterpunk & extreme horror is not for everyone, not for the faint of heart either.

The following trigger warnings are various reasons why this book might not be for everyone.
𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬:
𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐭
𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐞
𝐍𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚
The psychopath in the eBook reminds me of the Australian serial killer 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭, he is similar in terms of sexual deviancy, his sadistic depravity, lack of empathy or compassion for humanity or for their pain & suffering.
This book is brutal, depressing and bleak to read, but I am glad I have read it at least once because I was curious about the book, but I wouldn't recommend this book unless you can handle extreme violence, scenes of forced incest, rape and necrophilia, sexual violence etc..
It's good that there is a least a trigger warning in the eBook once you have read up to a certain point in the book, people can decide for themselves if they want to continue reading this book or not, I chose to persevere.
Now that I have fully read the novella, it makes sense that the inspiration for this extreme horror book is Wes Craven's film (𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐟𝐭) and other "𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐞-𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞" films.
I didn't always like the way the psychopath talked, even though they were Southern.
