When Noah did as God commanded and built an ark, his neighbors thought he was silly. But Noah trusted God and followed His instructions so that at the right time the ark would be ready. The animals entered the ark two by two just as the rain began to fall. Forty days and nights of rain flooded the earth, but God saved Noah, his family, and the animals.

With colorful illustrations and an engaging text, both young and old readers will find much to appreciate in this story that teaches children the value of faith and to trust in a promise.

Summary: This is the story of Noah and the Ark. God told Noah to build an ark and take 2 of every animal in the ark. People made fun of Noah but he kept on building, keeping his faith in God.

Personal Reaction: This is one of my favorite stories in the Bible. This story teaches children to have faith in God and teaches them patience.

Classroom Extensions:
1) Kids can make ark's out of little sicks.
