After a twenty-year hiatus from writing poetry, Wendy E. Slater composed 20 volumes of spiritually inspired poetry, which began in 2001 during a mystical sojourn to Scotland.

Her poetry reflects deeply on both the hidden and revealed relationship of nature, the cosmos, humanity and the healing of archetypes both esoteric and known, in the individual and collective psyche.

Her poetic formulas are both wisdom and method; a sharing of words that opens doors for readers and invites them on their own spiritual journey of awakening and healing.

This was a wonderful collection of poems that I believe will serve people on different levels depending on their way of feeling and emotion at the time they start to read. The poems cover a range of subjects from love to anguish to comfort, all of which pulled on my heart strings as I yearned for the peace that this collection of poems provided. After reading I often found I wanted to sit in a quiet place reflecting on my life and what really is important and what really matters. Beautifully written and thought provoking is my opinion, well worth the read.

This book of poems starts out with praise from others about the author's works.
Different angles of love relationships, some are sad, some happy and very deep soul searching.
Very deep and emotional as I can picture the scene the author writes about in my minds eye.
Very inspiring and spiritual.

This is the first time I read a book with poems, and I quite enjoyed it. Personally, I have always liked writing poems and would only read poems if they were assigned to me in literature classes. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see a book of poems that have a similar vibe to my own poems!
The best part is that each reader could interpret it in a different way. To me, I managed to relate it to my own life and experiences. Another good point is that I could literally read this anywhere. I found myself picking it up while I was at the coffee shop, or even when I was feeling a bit down at home.
The author's writing is absolutely beautiful, and I enjoyed most of the poems. Free-style writing is one of my favorites as I can read it like a story.

This is a wonderfully curated collection of poems. I've started a number of mornings by reading one of these with a cup of coffee, and I'm grateful for the insightful mindset it put me in each time. Opening the book at random and reading the first poem I landed on I found to be as equally entertaining as reading through page by page. This collection is unique in its focus and contributes a sense of attending to the real moments in our lives and being present to the human experience. It contains thoughtful, revelatory, and quiet-inducing works to bring us all back to our true selves.

No doubt this will be read & reread over the years to come.
