Another bland-but-surprisingly-not-terrible installment in the saga. The plot is predictable, but thankfully not trite. The villains and moral are hammy, and don't get me started on the 'period' setting, but the witticisms and acting, particularly by Joseph Millson, are undeniably fun, and the series mythology keeps growing in small but new directions, much as it did with the previous two films. The film, then, is a forgettable thing, but it's not outright bad, and so it continues to wash away the bad stain the original terrible sequel left. And Edelman's glorious theme is still being played for all that it is worth. In short, as long as nobody else is putting big screen dragons out there on the regular, I'll take them where I can get them.… (plus d'informations)
