SUPER RELATABLE!! The way it portrays panic attacks and how you feel with anxiety was so good and really lets you feel yourself within the story. It also shows you that, you can do it. Showing the thoughts and feelings behind a big job with a lot of pressure was something really special. Choosing to live a life you love, and to love yourself was a beautiful message and I think every girl in their 20s especially, should read this. Letting their mind to feel themselves in this book.

I really liked this book. It dealt with panic attacks. Mel is a divorce lawyer who was being harassed by a co-worker to the point she had panic attacks. Her aunt invited her to the Azores for a visit. She does have a couple more panic attacks while she’s there but she also realizes how strong she is. By the end of the book she realizes she needs to do what is best for her and not what other people think she should be doing.

Melissa is a divorce lawyer and will soon become a judge like her father. In the office, her colleagues say behind her back that she got the job thanks to her father's connections. They gossip about her problems with alcohol and mental health. Her boyfriend is not with her, she misses him terribly, but as a pilot he cannot afford to see her more often between flights.

One day she had another panic attack in the supermarket, after which her parents planned to send her to a clinic. Fortunately, she receives a letter from her aunt inviting her to the island. Her aunt Gabriella had been banned from the family long ago. Melissa decides to visit her aunt in the Azores, a Portuguese archipelago. Already at the airport he experiences shock. Aunt Gabrielle, her father's sister, is a hippie-looking woman who hugs and kisses her. Her family doesn't behave like that.

Mel’s next days on the island are not what she expected. Aunt Gabi planned Mel’s days with Carlos, a photographer with whom she will experience the beauty of the island and discover a life she never dreamed of.

Early in the book, Melissa's exhausted life in Lisbon turns into a fairy-tale life in the Azores. I was surprised how much I was interested in this book. I liked how the author weaved different characters into this story. I laughed with them when they chose Mel's meal at a restaurant for her to experience the taste of Saõ Miguel or when she wasn't allowed to buy alcohol. It was humorous and very uplifting.

The beautiful scenery of the island and the scene of sketching and photography transported me to a world of dreams and belonging. I even googled Kima, an Azorean passion fruit soft drink. And for the barnacles.

It is the story full of adventures, secrets, and rediscovery. The message I took away from this book is to never give up on your dreams.

I have to admit that I was a little bit reluctant to dive into this book, as Rom-Com’s are not particularly books I usually read but it for sure surprised me.

The story is about Olivia, a 35 year old single woman who together with her cat, Chili, returns to her hometown to reopen her grandmother’s bookstore. Her dream to own a bookstore collapses when she learns that there is a mortgage she needs to pay in three months. The bank manager, aka her next door arrogant but handsome neighbour, is not willing to accommodate her financial problems. On top of this, her mother is nagging her to find a man otherwise she would become a spinster even if Olivia is happy being single with her cat. Did I mention there is an author living in the town and nobody knows who is that author?

I am surprise how engaged I was in this story. It was a story about books and cat so obviously it was my book. I liked the relaxing reading and atmosphere of the small town with little bit difficult neighbours. The author created interesting characters with unique personalities that fit perfectly into this story. I will recommend this book for those who look for lovely and heartwarming story with bookstore and a cat in it.
