First, I want to give a warning - this is a fairly gory book, so if you don't like gore, you might want to skip this one. That said, none of it was gratuitous, and fit in well with the overall story. Although there is a bit of gore and violence, I'd say this was written at a young adult level, but very well done. I love the idea of a teenage zombie/vampire (it's never really clarified), who doesn't know what she is, and goes on a killing rampage. Schrader carried it off well, and made each character very believable, from Ginger to her friends, to her parents. My only real complaint - it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, and I'm dying to know what happens next to the trio, the 'family', and the social worker they left behind. I loved this, and horror lovers are sure to enjoy it too!… (plus d'informations)
