Just as advertised, an enjoyable collection of swashbuckling tales. For me, Dumas has been a longtime favorite, but I'd forgotten how much I love historical adventures. The sampling of authors has given me lots of ideas for books to add to my future reading list.
1st Edition, famous for having the Cthulhu Mythos in the text...which TSR did NOT have the rights for! A revised edition hastily removed the offending text.
If you ever needed an encyclopedia on the early days of gaming, this is it. A complete catalog of every role-playing game from 1974 through 1990/1991. I'd love to see another edition that fills in the last 17 years as well, but I suspect Mr. Schick has moved on to bigger and better things....
