Sanders was helpful in a few areas, but overall a bit mundane. Scheduling time for thinking, using a standing desk, and implementing different types of morning routines based on the amount of time available were a few leading takeaways. Getting regular consistent sleep and waking up at the same time every day (even on weekends) will help you achieve all your life’s grandest goals, he says. While that is quite the claim, I think the practice could turn out to be helpful toward being a good steward of time for productive ends instead of squandering it away with unnecessary sleep.… (plus d'informations)

Based on a recommendation, once again from Entrepreneurs on Fire, I picked up the book The 5 A.M. Miracle: Dominate Your Day Before Breakfast* by Jeffrey Sanders. I have to say that I'm very pleased with the book. Basically, this one book pulls together everything that I've been trying to implement at my job all in one place. Almost all of the concepts are highlighted in this book. READ MORE… (plus d'informations)

Why are you reading this review? You should be online right now purchasing a copy of Jeff Sanders' The 5 A.M. Miracle. This is not your average personal productivity book full of clichés and a few bullet points worth of useful information. You can tell that Jeff has spent years cultivating information to develop a strategy that worked for him and will likely work for you too. At the end of the book Jeff provides you with the 5 A.M. Blueprint - a 30-day action plan to implement some life changing ideas.

I read through this book twice, took lots of notes and set out to implement the 5 A.M. Miracle. 30 days later I am now waking up at 5 A.M. and making achieving my goals a priority. I have more energy, I am more positive and I feel like I have purpose again. This review reads like an infomercial, but as much as the pessimist in me didn't want to believe, this stuff works. To be fair, some of his recommendations are a bit unconventional, but the author doesn't expect every person to implement every thing in this plan. So don't feel bad if you too want to skip inversion therapy and the installation of a stand-up desk.

The most valuable strategy for me (besides waking up 2 hours earlier) is the concept of breaking you life's goals into quarterly chunks. This method makes your grand goals feel attainable and allows you to track progress for what previously felt like a pipe dream. If you are dragging in the morning and your life is in a rut full of bad habits and negative routines, give The 5 A.M. miracle try, you won't regret it.
