This is a wonderful book and the culmination of a weaver's life time work studying and weaving with three shafts. It is easy to dismiss this book as being "too simple" until you actually start to study and weave through the samples. Twills, Krokbragd, M's & O's, Huck and Swedish laces, warp and weft cords - and more. Then you get to the pick up sections and find that you can weave petit - point designs, three shaft damask, two block rug weave and pique, to name just a few.
